Supporting leadership teams to step back, think deeply, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Bespoke leadership development & school improvement workshops
I have conducted countless reviews of schools over the years. It is always a great privilege to be invited to explore a school’s work alongside leaders, and incredibly interesting to see the work they do in such varied, and often very challenging, circumstances.
Almost always, at the end of the day, while leaders have found the process helpful and supportive for school improvement, and the professional dialogue thought-provoking, they will say to me: “It’s great – you haven’t discovered anything we didn’t already know.”
While it can be valuable to have a fresh pair of eyes in your school to validate your work and identify any potential blind spots, what if the time was spent differently? Leaders already hold a wealth of expertise. What is often missing is the time and headspace to think, to share ideas, to innovate, and to make truly informed decisions.
My workshops are designed to create that space - a safe, confidential environment where leadership teams can step back and think deeply about what is really going on, test out ideas, and question assumptions, explore current reality honestly, shape a clear and compelling vision, and unlock the power they already have to create meaningful, lasting, transformational change — for themselves, their organisations, and the people they serve.
Bespoke school improvement reviews
For schools who do require that fresh pair of eyes, I also offer reviews that provide evaluative feedback, advice and recommendations.
These reviews remain rooted in curiosity and compassion. Professional conversation and a coaching approach are central to understanding and supporting the work of the school, but there is a greater emphasis on providing clear evaluative feedback and offering advice.
I work closely alongside school leaders, ensuring the process is both supportive and purposeful, while still delivering honest insights and practical recommendations.
